worst news ever.
björk had to cancel her performance at the sydney big day out today, due to swollen vocal chords. i'd be so despondent right now if i was from sydney.. what a let down.

"björk and the producers of big day out hope for a swift recovery in anticipation of a continued australian tour. after a standout show at the gold coast big day out this is a great disappointment to björk, who is on her first tour of australia in twelve years."

that's somewhat encouraging, but i'm not holding my breath.
i really hope she gets better soon. perth is waiting!

Dude, we're really holding our breath here in Melbourne. Gemma is a big fan and the combination of Bjork and RATM is the main reason we're going this year. D:

yeah, she's definately the main reason i got a ticket. i might end up getting a refund if she cancels, but i hope it doesn't come to that :/
